KKLL has successfully handled many difficult and contested personnel cases, and has acted as special investigator in unusual or sensitive situations. KKLL has also been successful in representing schools districts in tax assessment litigation, mitigating attempted tax reductions, and, in fact, in some cases obtaining tax assessment increases. KKLL is also known for its innovation in many different areas, particularly public finance and tax collection matters. KKLL has been at the forefront of developing direct tax collection systems in order to allow for the efficient collection of taxes.

Four of our attorneys have been elected President of Pennsylvania School Board Solicitors Association; and two of them were awarded the Association’s Distinguished Career Achievement Award.
